Membership:

We are teamed up with Karelo, an on-line registration provider, so you can sign up and pay by Visa or Master Card online. Below you will find the link to Karelo.com. We ask that you sign-up directly with Karelo to reduce errors, workload, and delays; however, if you cannot sign-up with a credit card online, please e-mail membership1@skabc.org for other options.

For legal reasons, to participate in club activities we require your signature on the Waiver of Liability Form which can be downloaded here. If you use Karelo’s on-line service, you'll find a link to download the form. Please print, sign and mail in the form or sign the Waiver at our monthly Club meetings. It's the member's responsibility to get his/her signature to SKABC. Once we have received your signature you'll have access to trips, training and other club privileges. Note: There are limitations for minors under the age of 19 for some club activities.

Benefits of Membership

Whether you are a seasoned kayaker looking for paddling companions or a novice who has only recently heard the call of the ocean, SKABC has a lot to offer:

• Single and multi-day trips.
• Beginner to advanced kayaking courses.
• Monthly meetings and other social events throughout the year.

Membership Fee

SKABC's annual membership fee is $45 per person/per year or $55 per family/per year. A family membership is extended to family members living in the same household. The membership year is from April 1 to March 31.

New members joining after October 1st pay a pro-rated fee of $25 per person or $30 per family.

Member's Area Access

Members have access to a wealth of resources on this website. A username and password are required.

Discounts are available to SKABC members at many retail and rental locations. Please enquire before finalizing your purchases. Remember to express your appreciation; and if the business does not offer a discount, please respect their position. Some of the participants are:
