Meetings & Events
About the Meetings
The club meets on the first Tuesday of the month to discuss club business (e.g. upcoming trips and training sessions), view slideshows and presentations, learn from speakers and demonstrations, and enjoy the fellowship of cameraderie of club members.
The club's library is available for loan at meetings, and from time to time bulk-purchased items are available for sale, such as club shirts and safety equipment.
September, October, November, January, February, March, April, May and June meetings take place at the Vancouver Museum on the first Tuesday of the month.
Meetings start at 7:30 and end around 9:00 pm. The room is open at 7:00 pm, allowing time to catch up with old friends and make new ones before the start.
July and August meetings take place outdoors at Locarno Beach, usually with a BBQ.
There is no club meeting in December; a Christmas Party takes place instead, on an alternate date.

SKABC Safety Coordinator Leslie Hanson will present on Cold Water Immersion.
Tuesday April 6th 7:30 pm
John Kimantas, the publisher of Wavelength Magazine, will be presenting on his trip to Alaska last summer. He will also be bringing his books and atlases for sale.
